Hackathon

The AI Commons Project is a proof of concept of a new methodology of developing Artificial Intelligence solutions that allows anyone, anywhere to benefit from the possibilities that AI can provide. The project aims to increase/improve the accessibility, reproducibility, contextualization and enhancement of Artificial Intelligence solutions globally and especially in emerging markets.

The project aims to demonstrate how global communities of AI experts and other stakeholders can learn and co-create mutually beneficial solutions with the opportunity for cross- county incremental enhancement.

The AI Commons Health & Wellbeing Hackathon is an online competition for AI experts, health workers, academic researchers, health tech organizations, students and any other interested party with groundbreaking and innovative working prototypes, models or solutions driven by Artificial Intelligence to solve identified local health health and well-being problems or improve identified existing Artificial Intelligence health and well-being solutions in Ghana.
